David Hodge is an Ergonomic Specialist with A Kinetic Life. Over the past 17 years, David has partnered with corporate and government entities to influence change in workplace behaviors, as well as recommend products and equipment to reduce risks factors associated with repetitive workloads/ activities. Having spent 12 years as a workspace design and furniture specialist, and 5 as an ergonomic specialist, David understands what drives individual habits and musculoskeletal disorders from both a physiological and social perspective.
David has worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies in the Houston market implementing ergo and training programs, as well as performing thousands of ergonomic assessments, including ExxonMobil, Noble Energy, and Hess. In addition to his extensive ergonomic experience, David was a co- presenter with Tom Rowell at the National Ergo Expo in November of 2016.
David holds a BS in Kinesiology and is currently working toward his MS in Sport and Human Performance from Sam Houston State University. He is currently licensed as a CEAS (Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist) and CPT (Certified Personal Trainer).
